Self-Esteem and Identity

Together we can help work on helping to more strongly define your likes and dislikes and personal identity in order to form a deeper understanding of yourself. Major life changes cause many people to explore and redefine who they are and how they see themselves. This can happen at any stage of life, although according to Psychology Today, most people think that adolescence is the primary identity-forming period. Still, as we grow and many life changes are thrown our way, humans may be constantly searching for their identities as they change and grow. Through that time, a lack of identity can be accompanied by a lack of self esteem, and working on gaining of deeper understanding of who you are can contribute to a deeper understanding of your inner core.

Through talk therapy, you can develop a deeper understanding of your wants and needs. You will have a better understanding towards your own internal insight, as well as a more profound understanding of those around you in order to have the base for exploring your identity and potentially raising levels of self-esteem.
